Hard life in Mexico city
Since the economic crisis of 2008 the growth of inequality that had already taken off with the Thatcher and Reagan years is accelerating. In recent years, I began to document life in some cities crossing my path.
Mexico is a country of contrast. Contrast of wealth and poverty. Contrast of modernity and traditions.
Inequalities are striking and present on every corner. The extreme poverty of people living on the streets cannot leave indifferent.
For a hard life in Mexico, I took advantage of working on my Mariachi series at Plaza Garibaldi to document the poverty surrounding this central plaza of Mexico City.
